summer for the Kids' Reading Safari!
There will be fun and educational
programs for kids of all
ages and prizes will be given away for reading!
June 1 - August 1, 2009

newsletter to receive e-mail notifications about our programs
each week during the summer.
Rules for the
kids' program:

Every participant must have a Wichita Falls
Public Library card.

Pick up your first reading log at the library
on or after June 1st.

Start reading! You can read
age-appropriate books from
either the library or home.

Keep track of the time you spend reading on the
reading log.
Once you have completed 5 hours of reading, bring the reading log back
to the library to receive a bag of goodies.

Continue to read. Each time
you bring back a time log you'll receive another prize. Once you have read 15
hours and have turned in 3 reading logs by August 1st, you have officially completed the
program, however, If you want to continue
reading we also have time logs for up to 100 hours of extra reading!
Be sure to check the
library's events calendar and attend the library's special
summer programs each week.
We also have Summer
Reading Programs for Teens (age
10-17) and Adults
(age 18 and up). Get your entire family involved in
Summer Reading!
All programs are free!
