In order to promote reading as an ongoing pastime, the Wichita Falls Public Library is pleased to announce the Reading Patch Club. This year-round reading club is meant for children who are reading on their own. Participants read from specific areas of interest in order to receive a particular embroidered patch. (Please, only one of each patch per child). Children are encouraged to read books on their own reading level. Suggested titles for various categories are available in the Youth Area. Pick up your reading logs at the Youth Desk. Listed below are the available patches and their requirements: |
