Obituary Request

Our staff will be happy to search for obituaries for you - or if you prefer to search for yourself, you may contact your own library and request the Wichita Falls newspaper through Interlibrary Loan. Please be patient.  Our staff receives many requests, and tries to complete them as soon as possible. The cost is $1.00 for each obituary.  We will try to send via e-mail and will include an invoice with the obituary.

Please note:  We receive many requests based on false hits from newspaper databases.  Please make sure there is sensible reason the obituary might be in a Wichita Falls newspaper.  Also remember that the Wichita Daily Times did not begin publishing until May 1907 - there are no obituaries prior to that date.
